Maryam Brown, I&M president and COO, participated in IBJ Media's Nuclear Energy and the AI Future Summit, focusing on the important role nuclear energy plays in Indiana's energy future. The event convened state and federal policymakers, including Governor Mike Braun and Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources Suzanne Jaworowski, along with business leaders, utility executives and members of the nuclear community to discuss the connection between nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, economic development and the demand for reliable and clean energy.
Governor Braun also announced Indiana's Advanced Nuclear Ready Communities program, a state designation system that recognizes communities in Indiana that have taken steps to welcome nuclear energy development into the community.
